Alex's birthday wish was to have a "red carpet" themed birthday party, so we did just that!
Where would we host a "red carpet" photo shoot?? The swankiest hotel in Portland, of course!! Our friends at the Nines, a luxury hotel in Portland very generously donated a guestroom for our "A-listers".
They really went above and beyond providing refreshments, including Alex's favorite snack, Takis!
With the help of our awesome volunteers, we were able to give Alex and her friends an unforgettable experience, getting "movie star treatment". Windy and Cassie acted as personal stylists for the girls, helping them choose a gorgeous gown and tons of accessories.
At the Capes & Crowns Foundation, we mean business! Every "movie star" needs a huge selection of accessories to choose from! Check out our selection of tiaras, jewelry, boas!
Our resident hair stylists, Tiffany and Kristi gave each girl a beautiful hair-do while Elissa did their makeup.
You could tell these girls were having a blast, eating takis by the fistful, dancing around and belting "Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift at the top of their lungs. We headed around the hotel looking for photo ops. We became the official "papparazzi".
Little did the girls know, a limo was just around the corner waiting to take them on a tour of Portland! The girls were BLOWN AWAY. A huge thank you to Gregg of All American Limosuine for making this happen!
A huge thank you to everyone involved in making a dream come true for Alex and her friends!
What Our Clients Are Saying
"How do I put into words what Capes and Crowns means to my family? In August they did a photo shoot for my Stepdaughter. She was going through a really hard time adjusting to a recent custody change and with her ADHD and Anxiety she was having a hard time expressing her feelings. Kylie took a small idea and ran with it, bringing Audri's Aurora and Belle dreams to life. She was so patient and made everything feel effortless. Thank you Capes and Crowns for being the calm in a storm our little girl was caught up in, for an entire day she forgot about the turmoil she was caught up in. She still talks about it to this day that "it was the greatest day day of my life! I really looked just like the princesses!". You made her dreams come true that day and really helped us all come together in a time that we really needed it! I can never thank you enough."
